NOTD: Pastel Marble

After watching many water marbling nail videos on YouTube I finally got the chance to try it out. Because of how busy I have been lately I don't really have time to do anything fancy with my nails. However, the water marble was so easy and literally only took a minute to do.

I decided to use all pastel colors and only do an accent nail that was marbled. After finishing my nails I realized that I should have put a white base color under the water marble, so that it stood out more. But for a first try I am very happy with the results. Both nails turned out differently and I really like the one with more purple in it than the one with orange. I used all Joe Fresh Nail Polishes and 1 Julep Nail Polish. On my other nails I used Lilac by Joe Fresh.

  1. That looks so pretty! I'm scared to try it. How do you not get it all over you fingers..? I haven't checked out any tutorials yet. My best guess would be vaseline?

    1. Vaseline is an option but I put scotch tape all around my nail as close to the nail as possible then when I was done just pulled it off and only had to touch up a bit with a QTip and some nail polish remover.
